When you use a solar pool heating system cold water is pumped into a solar panel where it’s warmed and then filtered back. First, you set up you desired pool water temperature. Then, a sensor determines the most efficient time to begin running, which saves on energy because it’s not trying to warm up the pool when it’s below freezing temperature outside. Then, the solar pool heating system sends the cold water from your pool into special solar collectors that begin to warm up your pool’s water. The last step is for the solar pool heating system to send the warmed water back to your pool.
